1970s William de Lillo Cameo Ring
Rare 1970's item by William de Lillo. This is a beautiful done Cameo Ring with a heavy linked gold-tone chain edge. The cameo color is a vibrant orange coral. The ring is 2.5" long and about 1.5" wide. Cameo is 2" long. Signed De Lillo. One size fits all.
William de Lillo was a major vintage fashion jewelry designer from Belgium. His jewelry was often one of a kind, couture, runway pieces, or limited edition. He worked with many exclusive clients producing such pieces. During the 1950s he worked for Cartier, Harry Winston, and Tiffany. In 1967 he started the House of de Lillo with Robert F. Clark. Clark had formally designed for Miriam Haskell. While living in France the 1970s they continued to produce jewelry for fashion houses like Yves Saint Laurent and Schiaparelli.
